DigiByte is an excellent example of ‘Known’ Developer led blockchain technology, designed to keep pace with adoption and outpace and outperform more traditional transaction services in the future pushing the capability limits of this emerging technology, it brings improvements to overall security along with many other benefits for literally everyone. This is a seriously good idea and it hasn’t found us a moment too soon, already with three years continuous development and integrity under its belt, it is also a seriously juicy looking investment as it is currently almost certainly outrageously undervalued when compared with many ‘apparently’ more popular cryptos.
Also, if you happen to be into peaceful protest that has a chance of delivering, you would be seriously hard pressed to beat running a core DigiByte wallet with a few DGB in it on your PC and this is still very much affordable by everyone with access to a computer today, for now!

+ PROS: Very fast secure coin transactions
    - CONS: Growing but as yet unsatisfactory sized user base.

I have been using DigiByte for an year now and everything is amazing. Transactions take about 15 seconds to confirm, very secure.

Not a bad coin, but not a good coin either. Which… when viewed from the perspective of opportunity cost, makes it a bad coin!

Price will be 20 sats by March 2017. Buy Digibyte if you want to watch your money disappear, but still have the comfort of it melting away on a stable chain I guess.

+ PROS: Digibyte is a solid cryptocurrency, but with absolutely nothing special going for it. Just a coin that "Doesn't suck."
    - CONS: Digibyte has nothing fundamental going for it, just a lot of hot air and marketing efforts. The chart is a clear P&D, probably from Jared blowing the meager amount of funding he was able to jew an investor out of.

1.5 stars for unoriginality. If DGB were a movie, it’d put me to sleep 5 minutes in.

+ PROS: Well the logo looks cool, though the little digibyte robot is clearly just a copy of the michelin man on a diet. I looked into DGB, but frankly, nothing about it stands out to me. No dark markets even accept it in payment, which is the main purpose of crypto.
    - CONS: heavy inflation from mining, the dev team is always saying "soon, soon, soon" but never delivering anything of actual substance, and the chart looks like santa took a dump out of his sleigh on my portfolio. I'm staying away from DGB in the future, except to dump the 20 BTC worth of it that I bought whenever we hit 50 satoshis again (if ever).

i do not like this coin anymore. I joined their chat group, but community wouldn’t help me and whenever i raise questions about digibyte and maybe how to make things better, the community yelled at me. I think this is because they look in the mirror and see the same truth, but are scared of the future. Because the future, does not have Digibyte in it.

    This coin is languishing.

    + PROS: Community is passionate.
    - CONS: Community is blind. Coin is uninnovative. Community is so far underwater with their trades that we'll never exit in profit.

Some obvious trashing going on here, even posing as some of the better known DigiByte community members, I know this because one of them is supposedly me. My review here is a touch on the generous side but it no way compensates for what has happened here.

+ PROS: Beautiful example of this technology, expect it to last the distance.
      - CONS: Attracts antagonists and incites jealousy.

It seems to me that this coin is held up by the smoke of hopium, spewing from the nostrils of 100 bagholders. Aside from an attempt to hype the coin so one can dump on somebody else, I don’t really see a reason for Digibyte to exist.

I just spoke to the ghost of Kurt, and he said to drop any DGB bag you have like it’s a 10lb sack of aids.

+ PROS: I really like the Digibyte mascot! The blockchain is secure, and stable. DGB has some good marketing efforts, with video games
    - CONS: ultimately all the good marketing in the world isn't going to matter, because DGB as a coin offers nothing unique to much better coins. Like Bitcoin, or Ethereum, or Razor.

Nobody can argue the fact that DigiByte has the fastest POW block chain that has 5 different algorithms to secure the network. Obviously.

All these naysayers are welcome, but can leave for their own good to another place of the internet where they can talk to themselves (probably it’s just one sad person who bought DigiByte above 100 satoshis and is a bagholder ever since with multiple IPs) how bad this coin is – which is actually not true.

The coin is growing despite the negative comments.

+ PROS: These people fudding the coin for example
    - CONS: These people fudding the coin :(

Digibyte has a lot of potential, it’s very fast and secure. Out of 21 billion in 21 years, there have already been released 7+ billion in 3 years which doesn’t make it a scarce coin, yet. I am very sure this coin value will rise as it becomes more scarce over the next years. For now digibyte experiences slight inflation due to lack of scarcity, free coins spread frequently and few exchanges accepting cash for selling digibyte, making this it a good moment to purchase a moderate amount of digibyte for mid-and long term investment.

+ PROS: Fast, secure, nice designed coin with a lot of potention.
    - CONS: Needs more acceptance, more users and deflation.

Well if things go as planned, this coin will be great…if not, it will probably crash and get abandoned

    - CONS: Too easy to mine, still pretty worthless

    DigiByte vs Bitcoin

Security: 5 DigiByte mining algorithms vs. 1 Bitcoin algorithm. DigiByte mining is much more decentralized. DigiByte mining algorithms can be changed out in the future to prevent centralization.

Speed: DigiByte transactions occur much faster that Bitcoin transactions. 1-3 second transaction notifications. 15 second DigiByte blocks vs. 10 minute Bitcoin blocks. DigiBytes are confirmed after 1.5 minutes vs. 1 hour with Bitcoins.

Transaction Volume: DigiByte can handle many more transactions per second. Bitcoin can only handle 7 transactions per second. DigiByte currently can handle 280+ transactions per second. The 2015 DigiSpeed hardfork introduced changes that double the capacity of the network every two years.

Total Supply: More DigiBytes, lower price, more micro transactions, better price stability. 21 billion DigiBytes will be created over 21 years. Only 21 million Bitcoin will be created over 140 years. 1:1000 ratio. 1 Bitcoin for every 1000 DigiBytes.

Flexibility: Ability to quickly add new features. DigiByte can add new features & upgrades much quicker than Bitcoin. Future DigiByte upgrades will push transaction limit to several thousand per second.

Marketability & Usability: DigiByte is an easy brand to market to consumers. DigiBytes are much cheaper to acquire. $1 – $10 long-term price target per DigiByte. Send 5 DigiBytes instead of 0.005 Bitcoin.

+ PROS: 1st #segwit block has been test mined on live #DigiByte network! Check block version: https://digiexplorer.info/block/000000000000003fa1374a68dc5d553c3e463e46d081760a9858e15a12891807
